Terms
Terms of use
Short, because this site is a set of pages describing a product that has not shipped. There is not much to agree to yet.
Last updated 28 August 2026 · This page is written in English only for now.
1. What this site is
rentalguard.ai describes RentalGuard, an app for documenting the condition of a rented vehicle. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, the site is read-only anyway and you have lost nothing by leaving.
2. The demonstrations are demonstrations
Several parts of this site show the product working: an inspection playing out inside a phone, a fleet dashboard, a workspace sign-up. These are illustrations built in HTML. They do not connect to a live system, nothing you type into them is sent anywhere or stored, and no account is created. Where a screen shows a report, a signature or a serial number, those are examples, not records of anything real.
3. Prices
The prices shown are what we intend to charge when the app is released. They are not an offer and not a contract, and they may change before launch. Nothing on this site takes a payment.
4. The app
RentalGuard is not yet available. When it is, its own terms will govern your use of it, and you will see them before you sign up. Nothing here commits us to a release date.
5. What the product does and does not promise
RentalGuard is built to record the condition of a vehicle at a moment in time and to make that record hard to alter afterwards. It is evidence, and evidence is not a verdict: whether any particular record settles any particular dispute is up to the people and, if it comes to it, the court deciding it. We do not promise an outcome, and nothing on this site is legal advice.
6. What is ours
The text, design, code, photographs and illustrations on this site belong to RentalGuard or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to any page, quote us with attribution, and take a screenshot. Republishing the site as your own is not on.
7. Links out
Some pages link to news reports and forum threads about real disputes. We link to them as sources; we do not control them, we did not write them, and a link is not an endorsement of everything else on the other end of it.
8. The site as it is
The site is provided as it stands. We try to keep it accurate and up, and we do not guarantee either. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it or from being unable to.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If you are a consumer, that does not take away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in: in much of the world those rules apply to you wherever the other party chooses to be governed, and saying otherwise here would not make it so.
10. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms; the date at the top says when we last did. Questions: contact@rentalguard.ai.
